During your stay
If you have been admitted by the Emergency service
You will receive a mail from the Admissions service inviting you to normalize your administrative record (main hall - Route 260). The desk is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please take with you all information or documents regarding your insurability.
Down payment renewal
If you stay more than 7 days, you will receive a down payment renewal demand every week, unless you are member of an insurance company with which we have an agreement. Please come down to settle the amount at the Admissions desk in the main hall (Route 260).
Your arrival in the care unit
Every room is equipped with toilet, and a shower in some units. Sanitary facilities are available in your care unit. Every patient has a cabinet which can be locked with a key. Your room (page available in french) also has a television, a fridge, a telephone and an internet connection.
The toilet in your room is not available to visitors. Public bathrooms for visitors stand near the elevators.
Are you leaving your room temporarily?
Do not forget to:
- Tell the nurse;
- Put on a dressing gown, robe or tracksuit;
- Lock up personal possessions;
- Take the key with you or hand it to a nurse;
- Close your bedroom door.
You may not leave the hospital premises.
Use of the mobile phone
You can use your mobile phone but please use it parsimoniously to preserve the peace of the hospital and respect the others, who might be bothered by your phone call, such as your bedroom neighbor.
Accompanying party housing

In Pediatric service, all rooms (individual or shared rooms) have enough space for a parent to spend the night with his/her child. The cost of the night for an accompanying person is shown on page 6 of the document "Explanations about the admission declaration" (in French) you receive when being admitted.
